About Motherly Notes:
During the pandemic in 2020, Motherly Notes School was born where Julie started offering fun online native level Chinese courses. She incorporated elements from educational theories such as behaviorism, constructivism, humanism, etc. Her motto was 笑到爆也可以學中文. It means you can laugh until you cry while learning Chinese. Now after many years, the students of her program are witnessing fast progress through daily exposure to the methods she's been using. Julie envisioned a true immersion school where Chinese is not studied as a subject but as the means to form meaningful bonds to families and culture for everyday life.

Who is Julie Liu?
Julie Liu's teaching journey started when her first child was born and she made a commitment for her child (and now children) to be truly bilingual. After reading a plethora of research and learning methods while her child was in utero, she devised a full system of combining the best training methods including but not limited to differentiated instruction, project based learning, high interest based instruction, etc., and put it to the test. She then shared her methods on her private social media group on Facebook called Motherly Notes and the group has grown to thousands of like minded educationally driven parents.
In her group, she has shared over thousands of notable children’s book titles in Chinese as well as well as conducted famous author interviews. Believing in the power of reading, Julie has over 15,000 book titles at home and utilizes that vast library of titles for her children and her online classes. Powering beyond research, she was hired by the largest Montessori school network in the world to head their Asia programs. Here, she accumulated more experience into programming for the bilingual students as well as diving into gifted education.

Shipping outside of the U.S
- $20 flat rate shipping for Canada and Mexico on orders over $199 USD. Shipping will be calculated upon checkout on purchases under $199 USD. Select furniture items excluded and specified as follows:
- $80 USD flat rate shipping - Select furniture items < 22 lbs (example for this tier - HAWOOD furniture chair)
- $199 USD flat rate shipping - Select furniture items 22 lbs+ (example for this tier - HAWOOD furniture desk + chair set)
- Items are shipped from Los Angeles, California (United States). Website currency is in USD.
- Customers outside of the U.S. may have to pay for import duties and sales taxes directly to your carrier.
- Prices shown on YOBABYSHOP.COM exclude all relevant import duties and sales taxes.
- For more information about customs and duties upon import, please contact your local customs office or tax authority before placing an order.
- We are not responsible for any lost or stolen merchandise incurred upon shipping.
- International orders are not qualified for any free shipping promotion on YOBABYSHOP.COM.
- We are not liable for any returned merchandise due to incomplete customs clearance. Returns received due to the above mentioned reason will be refunded with 15% stocking fee; and shipping fees will not be refunded.
RETURNS
- All shipping and insurance costs are non-refundable, and are at the expense of the customer.
- We understand you might change the mind. We accept unused products returned within 14 days of purchase at the shipping expense of customers. We are unable to accept any item with open-box or sign of use.
- In the event wrong item is received, please contact us at info@yobabyshop.com within 7 days after delivery date.
- We are not responsible for any lost or stolen merchandise incurred upon return shipping.
- Refunds will be processed in the form in which payment was received. If gift card payment is used in the order, refund will be issued back to the same gift card first.
- Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to process.
- We reserve the right to refuse any returned item that does not meet our return policies. Stocking fees may apply if any package seal/wrap is opened.
- All sale and special promo items are final.

- While we strive to provide only qualify products on yobabyshop.com, there are various factors that might cause slight imperfections. We understand and will be glad to replace any defective item WITHIN 14 DAYS RECEIPT OF YOUR ORDER.
