In recent years, the number of people learning Chinese has steadily increased. In addition to Chinese schools and after-school Chinese classes, many public elementary and middle schools started offering mandarin immersion bilingual programs, further boosting the number of Chinese learners.
For families in the U.S., maintaining their children's proficiency in Chinese has become a key concern for bilingual households.
